Over the time several feature have been implemented to archive this goal.
Search Engine
Our sites have it’s own search engine, which allows searching millions of postings.
Because most search engines were not build for such a large number of pages and google only indexes a fraction of a site, the engine is a proprietary development and should execute any search query in under five seconds.
Relevant Pages
Most questions asked on the internet have already been answered.
The problem is that the answer may be posted some time ago in a different newsgroup, which makes it hard to find.
With this feature the system tries to show you other postings with similar content than the one your looking at the moment.
Some postings are so useful that it makes sense to print them.
Because printing of html not so easy, we offer PDF versions of all postings.
RSS Feeds
derkeiler.com offers an RSS Feed for every newsgroup or mailing list.
With a newsreader it’s possible to stay informed about topics your interested in without searching every single archive or subscribing to all newsgroups.
