Decryption help needed for Acer Smartcards and "Platinum Secure" by 360 Web

Does anyone know how I can recover / decrypt documents that will now
not decrypt using the Platinum Secure software?

I have seen an old post which offers hope but I don't have the
technical knowledge to do anything with it!

My system registry contains no reference to the files and the software
writers, 360 Web, are not helping.

Short of taking legal action for not warning me that it is so easy to
lose data I have no idea what to do.

If you can help I would be really grateful.
