What part of "your computer's network cable does not have to make some
sort of special accomodation in order to carry the french language"
are you having trouble understanding?
What if I just made up a character like has been done in the strange
music community and demanded that it be used. During spells of
immigration to the US, the government assigned new names to those with
what were considered very weird ones, and with little regard for
personal desires. Well, I don't think that happens too much any more
but it did make sense to our government at the time.
I suppose that the nom-like handles some use here are just as good so
why don't you just call yourself something like Frenchy and that can
be used respectfully without trying to have everybody get out their
French-English dictionaries, lots of luck, to understand how
particular sounds are to be made and refer to you in their sleep in a
correct manner. We have a comic these days who makes great triteness
of his name nightly and how it can affect the word Report as well.
I have considerable Cherokee heritage in me. We have our own language
and our own alphabet, rather advanced for us primitives. I think I
will pass however as utility means cutting some corners and that is
the essence of my meaning in that matter. Of course, I could just as
well do the German name thing as well.
