They have found new and improved attacks onMcEliece, and propose new parameteres.

Well, we actually did break the original parameters, meaning we wrote
the attack program, ran it on many machines and decrypted a challenge
ciphertext in 8000 core days.
All attacks described before were theoretical analyses and would have
been more than a hundred times slower.
