It is time now to bite bullet and make the change from failed scalar

On the contrary. It is quite clear that scalar cryptography is the way of
the future, and that vector cryptography is a dead end and always has been
a dead end. The reason is of course that the middle-value-theorem holds
in dimension one, but not in higher dimensions. MVT clearly shows that
for reasonable scalar cryptosystems, any attempt to get from ciphertext
to plaintext must go through the key (the mean value, so-to-speak). Since
MVT does not hold in higher dimensions, it is obvious that non-direct
routes allows an attacker to go from ciphertext to plaintext without
going via the key.

Sure. I've passed your address on to Scott Richter.
