What the heck? It's a commercial site that will have 20,000 users and
need real security and you're charging $50 to set it up? Really, your
best move is to uninvolve yourself and/or charge a heck of a lot more,
given the endless aggravation you are sure to be in for.
And yes, you will want some backend security measures beyond just
relying on the file system on some random server box (precisely what
you need will depend on your hosting situation), that will take
considerable care to get right.
