Does anyone knows of naming conventions which is used for end-

I am afraid there exists no universal convention, even on what
a certificate is: in real life each application defines its own
certificate format.

For one specific example (in the European Digital Tachograph),
see page 257-258 (258-259 in the PDF) in
http://europa.eu.int/eur-lex/en/consleg/pdf/1985/en_1985R3821_do_001.pdf

For another example (bank credit/debit cards), see EMV 4.1
Specifications, Book 2 - Security and Key Management, section 6.1
