Hint for users of Google Groups

If, after you select a thread ("topic"), you click the hyperlink that
reads "Collapse All", you will find that it is fairly easy to identify
and ignore the "hipcrime spew" (that's not really what it is, but you
get the idea). Using this feature, you might even be able to carry on
a semblance of a conversation in spite of the noise from the genitally-
challenged wood pecker.
