where i indictates the block number, n indicates the random inversion
points and N is a large odd number, K is the length of m and K2 is 512
bits

As you approach cryptographic complexity, which this is in many ways doing,
you begin to reach the importance of being first, and so the results from
the paper of that title
(http://www.isi.ee.ethz.ch/archive/publications/isipap/umaure-mass-inspec-1993-1.pdf)
and some of the related works. To summarize it states that assuming
completely indendent keys the structure is at least as secure as the inner
most cipher, but it also indicates that going beyond that is difficult. With
dependent keys the security breaks down further to where it may be no
stronger than the weakest. For an example of how this works take a look at
the meet-in-the-middle attack on 3DES which shows rather nicely that
sometimes an extra cipher, even with an independent key, doesn't actually
help.
