I gave two counterexamples above. I can give more if you like. I'm
guessing, for example, that you believe in both evolution and the
holocaust.
Without evidence? You think there is no evidence for evolution or the
Holocaust which I note you did not capitalize, and that believing in
them is about trust?
You are sick.
(So do I, if you're asking)
Why trust math people more than say, the president of the United
States?
The great thing about maths is that you don't have to trust math
people. You can read their proofs.

And when you find an error and say it, the mathematician who made the
error can just say, no. You can repeat and point it out clearly, and
that person can say, no, no, no.
And their society will back them up, as you can find errors with most
of them because mathematics is a terribly difficult discipline, and if
they told the truth, most of the people called mathematicians today,
would not be in the field.
So they lie for their own interests. And where are the objective
tests?
Oh, according to mathematicians--suddenly computer science experts--
computers are too stupid to check them, or, who checks the computers
checking them, they ask?
Yet computers check people in lots of other areas, doing far better
than human beings can do themselves, and last I heard, most people
think technology has progressed greatly and brilliantly.
Yeah, most people EXCEPT mathematicians in "pure math" areas who would
lose their jobs if computers checked them, so they claim computers are
too stupid, or unreliable to do so, and a gullible world does not call
them on the idiotic lie.
