Second, which insult? I say that TSD has no skill at doing maths. This
is not an insult, this is a fact. Now, though not being good at maths is

I'm not so sure of this "fact".

not an infirmity [*], if I have to use a maths library, I prefer to use
a library written by someone who is a little more than almost totally
clueless rather than the contrary.

Strange. If I want a library that implements well
known constructs, I'd really want it written by
someone who cares about careful, correct, and
efficient programs, rather than by an abstract
mathematician who doesn't care that input might be
malformed, outside the proper range, or how long
it takes to come up with the answer.

Now, I'm not much of a mathematician myself, but
I'm a good coder and know one when I see one. Tom
writes good code.

Greg.

Yes Greg Rose, like you, he does write good code.

However unlike you, he's a tool. He's the crypto nazi of this group.

He started a thread about his book. Something... if anyone else had
done, Tom would have been all over them like a fat kid on a Snickers.

Actually this group should be free from dipwads heckling anyone that
brings new information whether it be book or otherwise.

It used to be that way a few years ago, remember?

His book mentioned = OK.

His work mentioned = OK

Anyone else is spamming. Why? Not because they actually are, but
because the crypto nazi is going to bray and whine about it.

HE posted about his book. Then when a poster, in a show of support
provided a link, the crypto nazi couldn't resist chastising them...
he's a tool, Greg.

No one can come into this group, Greg... NO ONE... right now with
ANY new or interesting info, be it a book or a link or whatever,
without a bunch of crap from the sci.crypt crypto nazi, Tom.

I know you collaborate with him...

You're such an even and fair person here, and you've done some simply
amazing work in the crypto field, and I can't wait to see what you do
next, particularly with SOBER-128 which seems too legit to quit.

But Tom's a tool. If he would stick to coding and stop being the
crypto nazi the world would be a bit brighter, that's all.

Or at least sci.crypt

For Tom:
For crying out freakin' loud, post a message about your book, include
a link, tell us about it, Tom. If you weren't such an *** about
anyone else doing it you wouldn't have to put so many disclaimers and
bull*** about it when you do it. F#&king hypocrite.
