Lighten up, mm. When you've contributed as much to this
community as Tom has, I'll be happy to read your book
announcements here, too.
Which contributions are you talking of? His "First, *** off"? His
"Shut up little prick"? His attacks against people like Bernstein or
Schneier? What else? His library? But I know a lot of C libraries
written by people who have a math level superior to the one of a
dozen of oysters.
It's been quite clear over the years that people like you have hidden
your own personal details and prefered to strike when it's cheap.
Given that you contribute nothing to this group, have not proven your
abilities otherwise, and are not showing your hand [so to speak] that
you have something to hide.
People like you insist I will fail, that nothing will come of what I
do, that I'm to wallow in my own circumstances. Yet, I'm twice
published. I'm gainfully employed. I'm the author of software used by
millions of people, and I generally get to experience the benefits of
my projects in the works of others.
For the record, Bernstein and I get along just fine. We're not buddies
or anything, but I think we can see past our minor personality glitches
to work together. People like you fail to recognize that because it's
nice and convenient to assume the worse.
I say show us your hands. What the hell makes you so special, that you
can come in here, and attack people? It's somewhat demonstrated by the
two other posters in this thread that you're position isn't really
substantiated by facts.
Now, whether you like his library or not, that's your right and,
overall, that's not my problem.
Actually, I think it is your problem. Seems to me that my random acts
of success are a source of jealousy and anger within you. Why else
would you try to attack me with cheap attacks of character?
Tom
