Yes but its often easier to map the bit sting to a file of
8 bit bytes and then use a normal encrpytion..
True, but how are floaating pint numbers stored on your system?
Intel float? Intel double? Simulated floating point like those needed
for ARM processors? IEEE solves this problem.
