True, but I don't think that is due to the virtue of the language, as
much as due to convention and legal issues. I find this conceptually
interesting: http://sourceforge.net/projects/perix. IIRC they released
an alpha that was actually running, so the only reason I can think of
why the download isn't available anymore is that the TP license
agreement didn't allow it to be used for OS development.
