A lot of bad ideas or systems would fail if allowed to
proceed without interference with the natural process.
Unfortunately, "kind-hearted" people often tend to
chip in to help citizens of failing systems. Their
intentions may be good, but in effect they reward bad
decisions. I'm sure you can think of many examples.
