Re: Quick AES and related encryption question

I am thinking about incorporating an encryption matrix into my

I would like to know what size increase can be expected from these
encryption standards/softwares and what level of 'near randomization'
is actually effected

I am mostly worried the size increase will offset the size savings, and
render this avenue moot for my purposes.

Anyone able to help me???
Depends. If you encrypt before compression, compression won't work anymore.
If you encrypt after compression you can expect between 0 and several kbytes
depending on mode, authentication type and key management.
