A better plan might be to just add 20 rounds to SHA-1. It uses
80 rounds and is only slightly vulnerable, so perhaps increasing
it to 100 rounds will make it secure. The new hash function could
be called SHA-2 or SHA-1a, and would be an easy modification
to existing software.
