    Unless you do not consider "snake oil" a label.

    And if not, then what do you mean when you say
    someone's product is "snake oil", "serpent grease",
    "viper lube", or some other negative sounding nonsense?

    Packaged or not, it appears that your intention was to
    belittle his work. Was it? Or, were you just being
    glib, after a long run of nitpiking English syntax?
