Actually we had a discussion about this on sci.crypt a while ago. Basically,
as they stand now no p2p architectures can support secure DRM (although some
group DRM designs might work, haven't looked to closely). To support good
DRM that doesn't require only the leaking of a single key requires an
architecture change. The methods that came to mind before and still come to
mind now are transferring the first block in a client-server architecture so
the first block can be modified in any number of different ways, and having
k*n blocks where only n blocks are needed, this allows different blocks to
have different keys and gives a lot of room to roam to find something
secure. I can cover either of them in more detail, but I doubt the inner
workings would be all that interesting to most of the people reading.
