There's some pretty good books available, some of them online, some
of them printed. What areas of cryptography are you interested in?
If you're a complete newbie, you might start with "The Code Book" by
Simon Singh.

Reasonable questions are always welcome here. Bogus ones get asked
all the time too, whether welcome or not ;-).
