    This is how the movies in the future will be encrypted and
    stored for digital cinema.

    If this is a scanning system (not sure) then all we need is to
    pick up the signal in the place like this:

    As discussed here:
    http://groups-beta.google.com/group/sci.crypt/browse_frm/thread/bc5838b2ec329027/bf4a9daaef940100?q=panteltje&rnum=3#bf4a9daaef940100

    As you see, in the new system it is no longer needed to focus
    and get a good screen shot.
    Just the light is enough.

    Ahum.
    Would that be illegal?
    It is not encrypted when displayed.... And you payed for it in the cinema ;-)

    Well you probably get send to Cuba.
    The non Castro part that is.

    Anyways, transmission to the cinemas will be via satellite, the encryption
    uses AES with a 128 bit key.
    I have no plans ATM ....
    But maybe others ....
    If one could intercept it, you would have really HIGH resolution FIRST.

    <disclaimer>
    It is a public document.
    </disclaimer>

    Place here your bets for the year it is hacked ;-).
