Or is this where you look below average for not recognizing that
Pubketbreaker's message implied that he is fully aware that both A and
B already have K?
His "What would be the point?" is a valid concern.
Let me break it down for you because your super brain is apparently in
far too complex a mode to slow down to normal logic we mere mortals
have to live with:
Why wrap the key if you already have the key? Why the need to send a
wrapped key you both already have?
"What would be the point?" said Pubkeybreaker
That is a fair question. It is not even remotely stupid.
You know that Pubkeybreaker is Bob Silverman. The same guy who did
seminal work in prime numbers at RSA. His credentials are so solid...
I can't believe it.
Why are you calling Bob Silverman stupid? Where is the need to say
"this is where I point out how stupid you are" to Bob Silverman?
That is so disrespectful, I don't even know where to begin.
I mean, if you think he made a mistake, why not just be civil about
it? He's certainly earned his bones to be taken seriously, hasn't he?
Even if you had been correct, that is no reason to speak to a
respected member of the math and crypto community in a public forum
like this with insults and complete disregard to his person.
That is disappointing and also disgraceful.
