Roughly half the "modern" systems can be broken under
favorable circumstances. Note also that there are
methods of system cracking other than "pure" analysis.

If you're not actively conspiring to cause harm to
others, you don't have to worry about the NSA. You
might want to worry more about identity theft by
criminals. It's already a serious problem and is
likely to get much worse. To avoid it, you may have
to stop using the Internet altogether and stop
conducting business by telephone, especially radio
devices (which is where everything is headed).
