Let me be the first to say that I don't believe there is a great deal of
"personal information" about ourselves that the NSA would not be able to
find out if they wanted to. Be honest with yourself - is that really what
you are trying to hide?
The NSA likely has at least shortcuts to breaking most types of encryption -
but probably doesn't bother unless there is some kind of a national threat.
As someone recently posted, there is more to encyption than the algorithms
themselves; as the government isn't going to detect encrypted messages, if
you are already suspect, and then disregard them. You can read about
