I think we should honor whoever stepped in to prevent the new
first-class rate from being 37.1 cents. Perhaps some student
from the Connecticut Institute of Computer Repair.

As I stand at the Post Office counting out pennies, I often dream
of a 35 or 40 cent stamp with appropriate timing of increases to
accomplish the same profitability goal. But that would entail
governmentical logic. I don't think they teach that at Yale.
