Name one thing I lied about.
: You have a social agenda, which taints your posts.
You may not recall my challenge to you, so here it is again:
I am a non-tenured lecturer at a university. I am not up for tenure nor
do I wish to obtain it. I teach long hours for decent pay, but I'm not
here for the money - I can make far more in software design to be honest.
I would only have to *gain* from being in support of fantastic
revolutionary mathematical ideas.
Please explain to me why I would not bother to do so. What's my agenda?
: Now it's not hard to explain, but I think it's a telling point to leave
: it at that for those people who *DO* believe.
Name one such person. Just one.
: Going back to the political analogy, some people believe Fox News no
: matter what, and if you have easy ways to check and see that they're
: wrong, you realize that it doesn't matter to go to the trouble of
: explaining, as they believe Fox News, no matter what.
Your analogy is unsound as Fox news is not promoting facts that the
individual viewer can personally check.
