So ignore all the lowly plebeians and simply factor a big number
with your SF approach. That's all that it will take. A simple
demonstration for the naysayers, and you're on slashdot instantly.

Go for it. Amaze them all, prove you're not a crank.

Exactly. It's irresponsible if you know of a way to solve it and
won't do so. You have a moral responsibility to the world to
factor some RSA class numbers if you can.

Then prove it works, and the truth will be apparent to all.

Here you go, factor every non-prime integer between 1,000,000 and
6.023x10**23, and do it today. Post your results, along with
an algorithm in some well-known language that duplicates your
answers.
