I used the des command on a Solaris system 3 years ago. It has options like
    -3 for 3DES, -E (-D) for strong encryption (decryption), -u for uuen(de)code.
So the command line looks like
                   des -3Eu plainfile cryptfile
                   des -3Du cryptfile plainfile
I cannot find this utility anywhere now. The Solaris 9 Data Encryption
Supplement CD I downloaded only has des command supporting options like -bf
    and no 3DES.

I wonder if anyone has used such des utility and would appreciate it if
you can email me a copy of it. Thanks.
