Ah, but the determination of what is or is not "correct" can often be
highly context-sensitive.

Unix/C programmers have to unlearn quite a bit in order to function
well in some computing environments, and vice verse.

Programmers who are taught how to learn are far more effective in the
real world than programmers who are taught "correct" techniques, since
the context they learned in college may not reflect the reality present
on an employer's existing production systems.
