The previous thread "Classic Cipher software" got me wondering, as I have a
need for this type of thing. I am often confronted with weakly-encrypted
ciphertext (and by weak i mean simple XORs, Caesar shifts and so on)

Can anyone recommend any good freeware programs that assist in the analysis
    and cracking of such ciphertexts?

    Thanks
