note that cp67 and vm370 also "attacked" such things in systematic
(and systemic) manner ... there just weren't as many academic papers,
even tho multics was on the 5th floor of 545tech sq .. and cp67
and vm370 was done at the science center on the 4th floor of 545tech
sq.

there were a number of cp67 and vm370 online time-sharing commercial
service bureaus built on the platform (which wasn't true of multics)
