This is really his normal mode of operation. If he does sometimes reply he
usually snips out the key parts that refute some outrageous claim he was
making in the original point, in order to avoid having to respond to those
points specifically. Also, when people give him counter-examples to some
claim he is making he will usually just start a new thread and then
complain in that thread when someone reminds him of the counter-example,
that he cannot be bothered to look it up.
This has been going on for many many years.
