Most people on this newsgroup do not believe that copy protection
systems are even a sensible thing to do. They get in the way of
legitimate users and are easily beaten by pirates.
What is the real aim?
To get paid?
To prevent your cleverest competitor reverse engineering your employer's
product?
Provide proof of ownership in a legal case?
To find out who the pirates got their sub-master from?
To extort more money from your legitimate customers by causing the
product to break down at regular intervals?
