Current problem of the group

I like to say that it seems to be an optimum stategy of
ours to refrain from reacting to any posts that are
cross-posted to the alt.* groups. For otherwise that
could enhance the possibility of more persons of these
groups joining into the threads and we would consequently
get an even higher volume of the stuff that we don't
like to see. As I said in another thread, these spams
(in one or the other form) are (partly) akin to the work
of the poorly educated young kids. If we strictly ignore
them, there is some chance that their energy, lacking
stimulations, gets exhausted someday. In the presumably
rare case that a follow-up to the cross-posted stuff is
deemed appropriate, I'll suggest that all the other
groups should be deleted from the list of recipients,
such that sci.crypt alone remains. Thanks.
