Hi guys.

I'm very new to this, and actually have no idea where to start... The
task seems to be quite simple, so maybe you could suggest me some good
tools to solve it?

The story:

Our clients use our program. They activate it and do something, and
then one .STL file is generated. The program should save it in an
encrypted way, so that only OUR program will be able to open it
correctly afterwards. AND, if the client sends this file to us - we
will be able to open this file as well, and save it in such a way that
others programs will be able to open it too.

One guy suggested me to use openSSL. I don't realize how this huge
program solves my problem fast, unless I start digging into it, and
UNFORTUNATELY, I don't have time :(

Another suggestion is RSA, I read info about it, and still don't
understand how that helps.

Another one is Rijndael. This sounds most reasonable to me, perhaps
because of that private key thingie. On the other hand, if we have a
lot of clients (hopefully....), we'll need to generate quite a number
of those keys...

So. If you actually succeeded to comprehend my awful english, please
suggest me what to do. Open source is highly appreciated..

Thank you, the great GURUS.

Jenya.
