During WW2 the Germans used a ranging beam system code named "Wotan".
This system was used to guide bombers over England. Does anyone know
what kind of authentication method was used to prevent a MITM attack
from jamming the signal?
I was thinking some of the methods used to remove interference and
authenticate contemporary mobile and cell phone traffic may have been
developed back in WW2 to protect the Wotan signal?
