I'm trying to quantify a "ghost" concept of algorithmic information
theory, that is the "meaning". Of course meaning of a string is
relative to the receiver. And in some way a byte can contain more
meaning for a receiver that a flow of data. a bit can means british
encyclopedia... But the receiver have in this case to contain a copy
of B.E. for decode it.
So we can define the "meaning" of a string the minimal lenght of the
message plus the minimal length of UTM that describe the receiver.
(that is in some way objective).

In short I think that receiver is not a "passive" entity, but an UTM
which decription can be linked algorithmically to message for lead us
to something that is similar to "meaning". I think also the
transmitter is an UTM, which produce the message. I think that is a
step (small) to shannonian statistic receiver and transmitter, and is
near to Algorithmic Information Theory.
help in this sense.
