MKS if you mean how does it work then you aim the beam at a reflector which is
physically near where the conversation is taking place. The voice vibrates this
reflector and so modulates the laser. The receiver then demodulates this.
A similar method can (and has) been used with microwaves.
If thats not what you meant then sorry.
