Basically is was an idea we discussed yesterday and the day before, when I
showed him the attacks on the FFT hash he said it was different so I got
curious and he did a write up plus an implementation
I had a talk with Paulo Barreto, he suscpects the FFT idea and claims that
the diffusion is never optimal, in the sense that the underlying linear
structure can never be MDS but Tom added a twist for that one.
Jorge Nakahara studied something similar for Safer +/++, it seems
