Tisn't bull. You cannot simply remove those programs from
your machine. And the OS defaults are not safe.
Yes, they can be worked around, but that's another story.

Yes. I agree. My point is that I don't have to use them and
I don't have to do any serious fiddling with the OS in order to
remove them (or in fact, never install them) on my system.
