Our DTP-guy mentioned that this has nothing to do with context but with the
brain's process of reading and understanding (he mentioned saccades,
fixations and regression-saccades. That was the point where I stopped
listening). He cited from "Just and Carpenter, 1987. The Psychology of
Reading an Language Comprehension" so if you are interested that is probably
what you should read.
