I'm giving up on trying to rememember all my login info. Anyone have
some advice on password tracker/safe -type programs?
I've read good references to the opensource Password Safe on this
group. Opensource = peer-reviewed = good stuff?
Another, Password Manager XP boasts that it uses several encryption
methods together, including Blowfish. Also it talks about storing the
database on a usb-key, pretty cool sounding.
I'm typically ignorant of crypto, so I'm turning it over to y'all.
What do you people use?
Are all of these subject to Windows clear-text temp files and caches,
especially those that offer to insert passwords into web pages for
you?
Am I being obsessive about it, and any of these will offer pretty good
protection vs the folded paper I left in my pants when I did the
laundry?
Thanks,
Nat
