Ok. And how do wavelets enter in?

I did your suggested Google search, and couldn't figure
it out on my own. Would you be willing to summarize or elaborate?

Also, do you know of any good introduction to secure spread
spectrum systems that is well-suited for computer scientists?

Many introductions assume heavy EE knowledge. Also, I've had
a hard time finding introductions that treat the case where
the spreading sequence comes from a cryptographically secure
PRNG, rather than from a small LFSR. Got any good pointers?
