I am not sure that would work. Since flash can only be overwritten a
certain number of times before it is a dead bit (millions of times), most
flashcards are designed with a table of previously flipped bits so that
they can write the data into a new location so that it doesn't wear out
the same bits over and over again. Basically, when you think you are
overwriting a file, it may be putting the new data in a different spot on
the card for each write. If the decision is made in software, it may be
possible to rewrite the drivers, but if it is made by a chip on the card,
you may not be able to control it.
