WinrarHelp file says it uses AES-128. I searched through google and I find
a website which seems to say Rejndael or something like that is the standard
AES.

It sounds awfully intimidating because I am trying to recover a password
from a Winrar file.

In my favor, my file is

1 uncompressed(store)

2 I have the original(decrypted) 3 files(about 80 bytes long each) that are
encrypted. Of course I don't have the 4,5,6th files( much larger )in
decrtyped forms.

3 passwords are all in lower case, numbers, / or dot.

  Against me.

The password may be as long as 20 bytes.

Theoretically if I could get the exact algorithm, I should be able to
figure out the PW from the 3 unencrypted files(far far longer than the
password itself).

Now what the website says is intimidating as hell.
Should I give it up or is it worth trying to figure out some kind of
algorithm that recovers PW in these kinds of situation(the decrypted 3 files
sound like awful lot of information)?

If it is worth trying, where can I get the exact algorithm winrar
uses?(since winace etc is able to extract winrar, it can not be a closely
guarded proprietary secret. Is it?)

                                                              Sincerely,
