Hello,
I would like to know if Diffie Hellman and AES (Rjindael) are protected by a
patent, and if any licensing is required. I am developing a small production
line (100 units) of an encrypted cell phone TTY (for the deaf) unit.
Diffie Hellman will be used to exchange the keys for the symmetric algorithm
(AES - Rjindael). Overall I need to know if DH and AES are patended, and if any
licensing fees are requried. If they are patented, which firms hold the
patents, and how much is their licensing fee?
All replies are welcome.
