For Windows OS, I know of at least two alternatives to DCPP:
Safeboot Solo
Utimaco's Safeguard Easy
Some small feature differences but functionally the same as DCPP
Neither are free (but Safeboot is only $50) and both are closed-source.
However, both use strong algorithms, etc. (AES-256...)
