moving redirected files

I'm trying to get a my documents redirect to move from
Server1\redirect$\username to \\server02\staff\username. I've implemented
this with group policy.

I can still see the old server1 referenced in synchronization settings on
the client.

I don't see a policy pushing this out....the previously policies that did
push this out has been set to not configured.

What is the easiest way to clean this up.

thanks
.
