Re: Can't login

I am not great with PC's, but I need help here

I have read previous threads that suggest the sympton of windows
logging out as quickly as I login is as a result of being infected
by Blazefind. Unforunately, by the time I realised I think my virus
software had deleted the virus (Panda IS 2009 ). However when I
check the file name it is showing as
C:\WINDOWS\system32\userinit.exe, which I believe is correct.
However I still have the problem

Can anyone help?

Can also be a symptom of a corrupt profile.

Have you tried logging in safe mode?
Have you tried logging in as another user?
Have you tried logging in as the built-in administrator?

What version and service pack level of Windows XP do you have?
