In XP Pro I do have admin access...however, I can't even get on IE. Likely
because I have to set everyting up, i.e. my DSL connection, etc.
** Can I use the re-install version of XP Home to help recoup my
administrator acct?
If not, I will likely just use my HP laptop.
Thanks,
B Blake

I can't do that w/out using safe mode...The ONLY user in normal
mode has limited access and NO option to create an admin user.
....
Log in as the Administrator in Safe Mode and create a new user with
administrative access *while in safe mode* and then boot into normal mode
and log on as that new user with administrative access.
